First tooth!!

Ev's tooth has been loose for a while, like a couple of months.  I guess technically it's not his first tooth but the other tooth was pulled while under anesthesia to help with some crowding issues (it was sidewise), the dentist pulling a tooth that you don't remember and handing it to your mom afterwords doesn't really count.

The last couple of days it's been getting really lose.  Today as we were leaving church and getting into the car Ev's mouth starts bleeding.  It was ready to go.  We tried to get him to wiggle it more and he got a little freaked out about the whole thing i.e. what if it doesn't come back?  How am I going to eat....and so on.  we assured him that his permanent tooth would come back in and I bribed him with a cookie so I could "evaluate" it before he went to sleep, you know to make sure it wouldn't bleed all over his bed and such (makes perfect sense in 5 year old boy logic...little did he know the real plan).  One quick pull and it was done!  First tooth gone! 

Super excited/overtired kid.  Wednesday's are usually a late night anyways but he was wired after this.

Tooth Fairy pillow....finished yesterday.  Good timing!
